soulfisher	Posted - 12/01/2009 : 21:31:49 I'm dropping the alternator and moving to a 16 volt system. My fans for the radiator and trans cooler are SPAL and Derale, respectively, and my fuel pump is a Holley blue. None of these are rated for 16 volts, so would you recommend a step down or does anyone have experience with them running on 16 volts?

We ran our Nova without one for years and I was dragging the charger around and hooking it up after every pass. Neither of our cars sees a charger all season now unless there is some type of problem like a battery going bad. Love it! Tony Leonard
