Posted - 03/29/2009 : 09:43:56 where is the 5.90 stuff??
my engine, with 112, "held" an average of 5hp gain over 110 (sunoco), at this point it looks like sunoco vs the other brands would equate to chevy vs ford. it may be more consistent, but, my car pretty much runs right on the number with sunoco. |

Posted - 03/28/2009 : 21:17:44 Looks like I'll just be there for a chassis inspection on the 11th. Went to put the tranny back on the engine and it appears the pump is bad. Converter won't seat right and has to be pulled off with a lot of force. Tested it on a spare tranny and it fits fine. Too bad I never got around to rebuilding the spare.
No Joe, I can't use the TH-400 BOP, it's a C4 reverse pattern, manual :)

Posted - 03/28/2009 : 10:06:00 Not looking to start a fuel debate, but you will gain a few more Hp and run (at least my opinion) more consistent on VP. Lawrence Line is a VP dealer---will deliver to the track even. And it's ball park in price Sunoco Supreme 112 vs VP C-12
See ya in Staging!!!

Posted - 03/24/2009 : 18:31:57 Should be there. Need to get the new cage certified and hopefully the car will be ready to make a run or two. Lots of things to shake out (including some blasting media). Hope to see you. |
