Dave,
Dialing soft for the track and wheeling the hell out of the top end only makes the racers better. Doesn't always make for the best racing experience though!

Funny, everyone complains about the track. But yet Rock consistently sends more people to Pomona year after year HMMM. |

Well, I have only raced there 2-4 times per season for about 7 years now. Must be missing the really hot days or something. I remember thinking it was actually good last season. Then again, the small-tire car was broken before it really got warm out.
It does bother me that once you get to about 100 feet, the track looks exactly like the road outside the gate.

After reading this post, I somehow got an old commercial for a kid's water toy stuck in my head:
"Sliiiiiip, Slip 'n Slide!"
Just kidding, I haven't had a traction problem over there for a few years. That song really did pop into my head though. Old habits I guess.
