Posted - 04/30/2009 : 21:51:06 So I'm hoping to run my first races at Brainerd on the 9th and 10th. What is the schedule for those days? How late can I pull my rig in on Friday night? |

Posted - 05/03/2009 : 21:18:34 The gates are open 24x7 starting Thursday night. I will be headed up Friday at 6:00am so the traffic should be moving fine about then. I actually don't think the traffic will be that bad so from the Cities expect just over 2 hours!

Posted - 05/03/2009 : 17:27:06 Thanks. Wasn't sure if there was any racing, other than the gambler on Saturday. I'll be sure to be there to get some time trial runs. No idea what the car is going to run, way too many changes and I haven't weighed it yet to see what it lost.
Actually, only question that wasn't answered was how late the gates would be open on Friday. My son graduates from college that day and I will then be heading up in the motorhome. Not looking forward to driving the 65' combination for the first time in opening fishing traffic. I would expect it will take a while to get there.

Posted - 05/01/2009 : 10:32:58 The gates usually open on Thursday at 5pm---at least they have in the past. I didn't find anything on BIR's web page that stated a 'gate opening' time. But, that's what it has been in the past.
Friday May 8th there is a Test-n-Tune, plus Tech Instection.
Saturday is Time-Trials and Gambler's Racing. Plus, S/SS Eliminations. Expect to get 1-2 Time-Trials...and if you don't gamble---maybe a 3rd Time-Trial.
Sunday is Eliminations. This season we MAY get a Time-Trial in the AM...but, that hasn't always been the case.
