| Andy, Have not heard anything on the book !! Don't know about you guys but the Pro Pads are a question. 200 up front W/O elc. 30 per event. Savings of 10 bucks. For us if we went to all the events but the one on Earlville Pts Race it would be 180 if we paid per event. All I know is we will have our events worked out in two weeks. Ron |

Charging a fee to park on pit spots that were widely available when they were free......priceless.

Andy,
Yes, it will be available online in PDF format. The website pages will be done first and will have the same data that the racer handbook will have, just not all in one place. The plan is to mail the handbook out to the racers we have addresses for.
Thanks for asking.
I know that most people on this board are strictly bracket racers and for you we only have 14 days of racing and 7 days of test & Tune. For the NHRA Sportsmen racers you can add 7 more days for the official NHRA events. There are a few of you that show up for our Wednesday night program, that’s 10 more races. And still others that show up for the Muscle Car type events. We also have some private track rentals. No matter which group shows up, we still have to staff the event and pay for an ambulance & other services. To me they're all drag racing; to the neighbors they're all noisy.
The 2009 schedule has been on our old site for a while. I just asked that they put the 2009 Fan Guide on the old site in PDF format so you can download it. The Fan Guide also has our complete public schedule and a basic event description.
• The Bracket Racer entry fee will remain the same as last year. • We haven’t finished the discussions yet but there may be a fee to join the year end points fund, just like other local tracks. • The payout is still being worked on, but will be broken down into smaller groups and smaller cutoffs. It doesn’t make sense to have a payout based on 32 cars when only 14 show up for that class.
The rest has been made public already. • Running Stock / Super Stock qualifying and eliminations on Saturday. • Running Juniors on Saturday. • Gamblers Races every Saturday (weather permitting). • Test & Tune every Friday. • Test & Tune Plus every Friday - Test & Tune with dial in's. • 7 Races, only counting the best 6 of 7. • No bonus points for attending all 7 races this year – This way you won’t get penalized for missing a weekend.
Not sure what else you want to know. We are looking at the cost of adding more power to the West side of the pro pits. If we can do it cost effectively we will, if not it may wait a year or two.
What other questions can I answer for you?

I'd go $20/rd all day long! Pick which car you want me to drive. Of course, I would need to be at said track for that to happen, as would you.

| Bill, I have checked my phone and no one has called either. As we talked 3 to 4 weeks ago, Sportsman entry fee, payout from 10 to 32 cars and above. Posted payout on the BIR Site 32 to 64 stays the same ?? How will points be counted in S& SS, Div event and Natls.?? All that is still in question. Time is running out on both sides. Yes everyone will be counting there pennys this year ( BEST BANG FOR MY BUCK ). I know this is a lot of work for everyone, RACERS TOO... I am not one to wait till the weekend before the race to decide to go, my kids know that. I'm sure alot of people plan very far ahead. Remember no one one this site wants to make either side fail !!! Myself and others have always offered to HELP!! After 38 years of racing one would think ideas would be listened to. Ron & the kids |

So even though you don't want to count these races as 'drag races' they play a key role in attracting people to the sport.
You would be correct Andy. I was at the first Show&Go all the way to 1999 till I stopped by a track in Wis in 2000 on a work trip and tried it. Now turned hard core bracket racer. 24 weekends a year for 8 years. I really miss Champion Auto stores !!!!

I just received notice from our web developer that they had a family issue and they can't turn the new site on today. It should be tomorrow. We are still writing content for it so weather it was launched today, tomorrow or next week, not all of your answers will be there yet. PLUS, we need to learn how to work the darn thing.
Other noteable events comming up: there's the MDRA event Saturday night, the MPLS auto show starting Saturday as well, it runs until the 29th and lets not forget the GSTA Show a week later on the 28th & 29th. |

Ron, you crack me up.
The look and feel of the new pages is much better. I knew our old site was..... well lets face it, it was tired and not updated often enough. It was also missing lots of user friendly info. Trying to put all that info in one place is taking more time than I had hoped. Most of the issues that caused delays needed to be taken care of at that time to keep the rest of the program going.
