July 25-26 at Interstate Dragways...2-Day Stock/Super Stock Combo. Test-n-Tune Friday night.
$40 to the gate/$$$ to the payout (what ever we choose). Tow once, race twice!!!
A fantastic opportunity to tune up for the Nationals at BIR.
Yes---BIR is running that weekend. But not a 2-day Stock/Super Stock Combo...besides, with the rained out event on June 21st...BIR has to make that up on that weekend as well!!!
I know where I will be...

Quick plug for the new Interstate Dragways. This track has done a total 180. There is a new owner who has a great attitude and the fresh look is already paying off. There were more cars at the track this past weekend than 2-3 race weekends combined in the past. There is a guaranteed $1000 to win gamblers on Saturday and the racers are actually getting paid cash in hand at the end of the day. You will also find that the track has THE BEST traction around. i should know, i snapped a mark williams axle on the starting line two weeks ago. The only downside so far is that there is a lack of workers so there is some downtime but it is not bad. I think you will all be impressed!!

Website says attention racers so i would guess that it is open to everyone. $50 gets you runs all day + into the guaranteed pot. Too bad i'll be at BIR for the weekend

| No need to feel sorry for me, i personally love racing @ BIR. I've never had a bad experience in the four years i've been going there. i've only been to three other tracks(interstate, grove and minot,Nd) and BIR has by far the best racing program in my opinion. i do hope the S/SS weekend goes well at Interstate. Greg (new owner) is doing a great job so far and is really working his tail off, hopefully people keep going back. |

Very poor S/SS turn out in my book...11 cars. Still paid $325 to win, and managed to pay 1st Rd winners as well.
