I'll take it off your hands, Joe. Probably a good thing to have in the trailer. Can't borrow another water pump since my fuel pump mounts specifically to that one.

I won't see a racecar until mid-April and the pump worked the last time I tried it, so spring sounds good to me. Thanks!

Joe - If you still have this water pump motor, I would like to get my hands on it this week. Would have been much easier if I had known this yesterday!

Thanks!

Cool, thanks Joe! Now put it in a safe place that you will remember in the spring!

Ive had my moroso electric w/p motor on since 2000. I figured it was time to replace it this year so i purchased a brand new one.
After installing the new unit I only ran it a few minutes and then it proceeded to slow down and start to smoke. So I had to put the old one back one. That sure didn't last long. WTH ? I guess the old cliche "If it aint broke don't fix it" applies to this preventative
maintenance idea.

I had to rebuild mine last season when it started leaking, and since Joe couldn't locate his new motor I just replaced all the seals and gaskets but left the same motor in. I just got the car going for the season on Saturday and the water pump is almost as loud as the engine! As soon as I get this motor (assuming Joe hasn't lost it again) I'll be rebuilding! Hope I have better luck than you, Dave!

Guess I will get the replacement and keep that one as the spare.
