Must not have met their 85 car minimum for full payout....yet another enhancement of BIR!
Sure glad I didn't bring my Super Stocker up there and run for 'minnow' money. If they hosed Bracket I and Bracket II like that...S/SS had to pay out less than $500 to win. BIGGER OUCH!
Congrats on your Runner-up Dave.....sorry to hear you got hosed on the payout. Wonder what the 'official' car count was for Bracket I and II?????????????????????????????????????????
I got my check for 3rd round and that was $75---like posted.
Cedar Falls and Grove Creek keep looking better and better!

That's pathetic! So where is this new payout listed? I know they didn't change any of the round money so why would they take it away from the winner/runner-up? I guess 80 cars in a class isn't enough to make the payout. Same old BIR! This whole mess reminds me of the old Charlie Brown cartoon where Charlie Brown is going to kick the football that Lucy is holding for him, surely she won't pull it away this time. Wrong! Charlie Brown never learned and I don't know if I ever will either. AUGH!!!!!

Both Brackets 1 and 2 ended up with 3 cars left in the semi finals meaning each class only had to pay 1 semi finalist as well. So everything was cut from the top. Im not real happy with the outcome of the checks and it isn't posted anywhere when the car count is below 84.( Bracket 2 posted 80 Cars )
$275 Pit Spot $200 Fueling the Motorhome $80 Entry Fee $425 Slicks $6 A Gallon for Racing Fuel
Dodging bullets , escaping the new rain policy plus a Runner up finish only to get raped on the pay out.
PRICELESS..............

Glad I lost in the early rounds...save wear/tear on components, and get paid better. LOL
I really want to know how many cars were in Bracket I and II....it sure seemed like there was 85---if not, real close.
Does anyone know what the Winner got??? Was it $1,000 like posted?

| I went out in the 4th rd of s/pro and got $100. That would fall into the payout chart of 85-99 cars it should have been $1,000 to win and $500 to runner-up. |

Dave, I've said it before, it's cheaper to throw what they screw you out of into the fuel tank and go south!! You can't beat two shots at two grand, a great jr program for Nick(which pays the winner $50) and buy backs for us that can't win a round. No charge for crew on Saturdays, beer for a buck at the concession stand, now that's brilliant!
Regarding being screwed, I hope you were joking about including the Lucas weekend in the Jr points. (It wasn't that way last year.) Paying fifty bucks each to watch funny cars and alcohol dragsters blast down the track is ok for those of us who enjoy it, myself included, but a family racing a junior point series should not be forced to attend an expensive race like Lucas to keep their points chances alive. Just my two cents. Jim

It's nice to see they brought people back from the "Good 'ol days". It was run so well back then, too! You know, putting a golf course in wouldn't be a bad idea, something to do between rounds and at least you'd get your moneys worth.

| I also got 75 bucks for bracket two, i would bet that under this system the winner only got 500-750? |

The Super Pro winner said he doesn't know what he got yet because he didn't want to open the envelope on Friday and ruin his weekend. He figured 79 or 80 cars so probably $850.
This weekend we paid $75 to enter each day for $2K to win with less than 50 cars. 3rd round losers got $80, 4th round got $100.
Super Comp was $1000 to win, $80 to enter and only 14 cars. Semis didn't pay anything.

Thanks Davey !
BIR just needs to finish paying the final rounders in brackets 1 & 2 since the checks certainly can't be correct. Make it right and send out additional checks to the top 3 in each class which were the only ones who were shorted to begin with. Everyone else was paid in full according to the pay out charts.
I hate to complain - I really do - But my reasoning is this : I would like to know when the last time @ BIR the winners in Brackets 1 & 2 were paid $850 and $700. Granted the car count was down a little but at this rate I dont see them getting any bigger. DO YOU ? Seriously. 70 Boys |

At $80 entry, requiring 84 cars to pay $1000 is out-of-whack to begin with.
They get the cars to show up, so why would they do anything different?

Is there a new pay out listed for less then 84 cars ? If so post it please.
Im in shock with the decisions that were made from the first race. I seriously thought about it and between the pay out BS , The indecisive Jr Dragster points schedule issues for all the families involved and that new Rain Policy they came up with I have seen enough.
Travis is 100 % correct - A drivers meeting would be greatly appreciated.
