It appears that a few of you stop by the track from time to time. Next time someone can, can you ask Rick if we are still going to count our best 12 races? If that is so, IF the track is done for the June 20th weekend there are only 12 races that count. That means missing a race is going to hurt, bad.

Thanks for the relpy Jenny. I've e-mailed Rick a couple times over the last couple years and I have yet to get a reply. I understand he is busy, so I don't get too worked up about it. I just ask him at the track when I am there. I just thought if someone was close and able to pop in they could ask him.
My brother talked to Rick last week and I new that this weekend was canceled. He is shooting for the weekend of the June 20th now.
I hope the weather cooperates. It can't be easy sticking a ton of money into something that you can't use.

grove creek report,,,me and davey had a foot race down the new 660,,,i had the better reaction time but with my bad foot he got to the finish line 1st buy at least 10 sheep lengths and broke out by .0001!!! all kidding aside,, the track looks awesome!! 2nd lift of asphalt to go on this week, rain permitting! after talking to rick some interesting notes about the track, the old track had on elevation difference of about 11'higher with the finish line somewhere around 4'to5'higher,the new track is level for the 1st 800'with up hill shut down,(look at pics on gcr website)thanks to rick for this kind of committment this track should be here for a long time!!any #'s i gave you will have to be verified with rick as i am going by memory which hasn't been working all that good lately!!watch there website for opening date, should be soon!! and don't forget to eat a banana a day to improve your reaction times!!joe

Superpro I guess if everyone's cars all had 4-wheel disc-brakes, parachutes & only weighed 2,000 lbs. it would'nt be a problem stopping after going 180mph in the 1/8 mile @the creek eitherLOL
