Optimistic view...Got the event done, great weather, about 60 S/pro and about 60 Pro cars. Sunday things moved along well, done about 5:30 Track staff were great, one time trial each day. No muffler curfew limits.

Pessimistic view...Some sat in tech line Saturday morning for 2 hours, people at the gate added up entry fees wrong, Saturday-lots of down time rebooting computer and oil downs, About 10 outlaw cars testing making single passes (they couldn't run on Friday because of rain), got done around 7:30PM. Not allot of class cars(about a dozen in each category).

Was it me, or did anyone else notice less 'Security' running around?!?!

Track was nice and consistent, weather was great, things ran pretty smooth I thought.

I was one of the one's down in the Tech line for some time. But, for me it was fun talking to folks about my recent win at the Lucas Oil Divisional Race.

Don't they just do tech once for the season anymore? Did you have the "other" car this time, Travis?

Even if you did, with a low car count I find it hard to believe there was a huge backlog at tech of cars that weren't at the May race.

I ran the Camaro...it was a USA event (disappointing turn out of USA members), plus I needed to get more data and practice with the data recorder.

Brainerd is not doing the tech-once-for-the-season thing this year. They have offered the "extended tech" and if you have done that you get to go to the left of the barrier where the line has maybe 5 cars!

Overall I thought the 2-day race went really well. Granted the tech lines were a little long but the weather held off and we got both days completed. Congrats to all the winners.
Going up there and actually racing both days was very satisfying
win or lose.
Thanks BIR for running the program.
I'd also like to say thanks to the entire track staff for doing a great job.
I was hoping for more cars but the weather didnt seem too promising
prior to the weekend. I went up on Thursday and the rig got a
40 minute power wash. It was just pouring out and extremely windy.
I heard the bridges from Canada were washed out and they couldnt get across if you didnt leave early on Thursday.

Its to bad I had to hear in a round about way that people were not happy about what we had posted. People should be able to ask you up front why you said what you said. The questions I asked friday nite still were not answered when we left sunday. RJ & the kids
