Leonard Racing will be offering custom-printed license plates and insurance cards for your golf cart, ATV, homemade minibike (Whiteford Bros), or motorized barstool. Available for $5. Will not be reserving a pit spot so you may need to search around a bit!

$5 is too cheap but if I make it $10, you might as well just buy the registration sticker.

Or you can buy the sticker from me for $5. We have a promotion going on so if you buy the sticker from me, you get the trailer padding 50% off! That's a savings of $10!

Andy, since you started a business, do you want to sponsor a racecar. It's a great way to advertise and a tax write off.
WOW this post is catching up to the BOP post the amount of reads

How would the S/C racer have a chance to win with waiting 8.1 seconds for pro tree, and actually be able to have a decent light? So hopefully it will be ran a lot better this year.
When has anything ran smooth at BIR?

Thanks for your patience.
Launching the new website has been a big learning experience for all of us. The website and server are playing nicely together again and most of the website "glitches" have been fixed including the Racer Purse links. We are adding content daily so check back often if you don’t see what you are looking for.

On your payout you have the money posted for each racer per round paid. It says that the race is budgeted for two semi final finishers. If there are only three cars in the semi finals, the track only pays one person instead of two so the money that was supposed to be given to the other semi-finalist will be split up between the winner and runner-up right?

Andy I dont think the extra semi finalist pay should go to the winner / runner up. The avg. amount of cars last year were 75. At 75 cars the start at third round staged cars would be around 18 or 19. 2-3 cars short of being paid for 3rd round losers or per say "the top 16". The start of 4th round at this point would be close to 10 cars and these guys would end up being on the bottom pay scale. I would like to see those 3rd round losers receive the $80 and so on with only 1 semi finalist. 1st place already pays $1150 with 75 cars. Just my thought. What does everyone else think ?

Yeah, that's screwed up. I didn't even notice that they didn't pay 3rd round loser if there were over 64 cars. At Byron for a $95 entry you can win from $5,000 to $10,000 and 3rd round loser gets $60. I think it's a good idea for tracks to pay 3rd round. It gives more racers an opportunity to get some money back and they will more likely come back to the track for more. Personally, when I look at different payouts the first thing I look at is the round money because the odds are very low that you're going to win the race but at least you can get something for going a couple rounds.

When I raced from 1974-1981 you had to win 3rd round to get money, when I started racing again in 2001, I walked away from races at Rock Falls and Grove Creek without money when I lost 3rd round not knowing that there was money for me:( Russ Elzy

You've gotta be fisting me! I was liking a lot of what I heard and was looking forward to giving the place another shot this year. I will NOT be there if the payout is based on "cars remaining" rather than "round." Period. I don't see adding $150 to the winner's share as a positive when it comes at the expense of all the 3rd round losers. That doesn't have to be $75 like it had been, but $40-50 would be good IMO. I don't mind paying higher entry fees when there are no buybacks, and I also don't mind racing for a smaller "carrot" when there is an increased chance to get a little something back. This is almost the "worst of both worlds" if that makes any sense.
