After all of the times that this race hasn't been completed don't you think that it's time to re-think the schedule? The track is marginal at best and combined with cold temperatures anything with a little bit of power won't make it down. If this weekend happened in the summer, the track would have been warm, the drizzle on the track would have evaporated quicker, less people would be complaining about traction, and the race more than likely would have been completed. I also disagree with the decision to give everyone a time trial even though they started at 11:00, and had to run the jr's and s/ss but that's another issue.

They did a great job running the halloween party and the winners were paid on the spot!! Now if the race was only ran like that...

Yes Andy we are thinking about that for next year. We hoped the weather would have been better but not much we can do. The actual reason I responded to this post is to let you know that there is a pic of your car on the line at Pomona last year on NHRA.COM in the 5th story if you scroll through the main features, story about et finals.

Maybe next year the 2 race day weekends could work during the warmer weather.

As long as I have been racing at BIR there has always been a late date race in October without issue. The same sentiment could be applied to the first race as well as I have seen snow flakes up there at least twice in May since 2002!
