(Time permitting. Monies split 50% track 50% purse) This is the kind of stuff that will kill the track.

This rule looks new for Pro: "Shifter; mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical operated shifter permitted, as long as the shifting function is driver activated. Two (2) step rev limiter permitted."
I read that to mean that automated shifters cannot be activated by an RPM switch.

That gambler entry/payout seems a little crazy to me. Entries capped at 64, but buybacks allowed? Buybacks at 80% of entry? If you get all 64 entries and all 32 first round losers buy back, the race pays $1280 to win but only 8 cars are paid, beginning with 5th round losers?
I've been to races that had payout beginning 5th round, but that is because entry was only $100 to win $10,000. To have $90 invested in a $1280 to win race with no round money just doesn't make sense to me.
I'd suggest something like this:
Reduce buybacks to $30 - track can still keep half.
Winner - $1100 R/U - $400 Semi - $150 5th Rd - $80 4th Rd - $50 3rd Rd - $30
The track can keep any unused portions of the purse or any odd-car money. They may also need to dig into their cut of the entries if there is a low buyback rate.

Payout is 80% of "racer entries" X "entry fee" The payout is as follows: Winner: 40% plus 70% of any pool money Runner-up: 25% plus 30% of any pool money Semi: 20% divided by 2 3rd round: 15% divided by 4 (Starts at 17 cars)
Looks to me like the payout starts 3rd round and skips everyone until the semis and it't technically not 3rd round until the race is at 17 cars lol.
(Time permitting. Monies split 50% track 50% purse)
That probably means one round will be run and it will be split. |
