Making a perfect run kinda depends on the racer in the other lane putting together a .010 or better package along with your perfect light.
The racers holding numbers have the exact same probability of making it happen. You need a perfect light and an opponent on their game.
Edit - the racer holding has a better probability of making a perfect run. With the right number of rips and/or pressure on the brake pedal, the car has the potential to be dead-on with a zero every time it goes down the track.
