| I'm not sure if everyone got a notice that BIR is hosting their 1st annual bracket racers meeting on Saturday March 22nd at 9AM to noon at Pleasurland RV in St. Cloud. Sounds like a good way for the management to reach out to what the racers want. Steve Roehrs |

I'll be going - Hopefully it's informational and benefits the racers as well as BIR.

Too late. cause of what I experienced last year I am not going to BIR 2008. I will be at the meeting but doesn't look good for the home team this year. I will be spending my 24 weekends at other tracks this year. |

If turnout is weak, they should move it up the road a bit to Pure Pleasure next year. Couldn't hurt!

I thought it went pretty well---there had to be close to 100 people in attendance. Here are a few I noticed----Mike Anderson, Dan Condon, Troy Luberda, Jim Sims, Myron Streit, Mike Sandstrom, Ryan Scheleck, Jeff Gross, Pat Nahan, Jason Kurkosky, John Schei, Jeff Wilken, Dean Engler, Dave Engler, Don Wachholz, Terry Johnson, Brian Zenzen, Ron Zenzen, Scott Dugdale, Lee Dugdale, Brad Mickle, myself and Lots More! Jed was there to lay the foundation of what the plans are for BIR this season and beyond, Scott Quick, Tim and Phil (from Tech) were there as well to answer questions. Scott Quick told me that the 2008 Payout will be posted in a couple of weeks on BIR's web site.
IF you don't purchase a Pro Pad spot for the season, you can purchase race-by-race...but, if you don't do either---you won't be allowed to park on the Pro Pad.
As well, BIR bought this new Zamboni like contraption to help with track prep, and they have promised that on Friday Test-n-Tunes the track will have some teeth!!!

The BIR experience has been "enhanced" once again! Paying extra for a nice, non-reserved pit space?????

Tony---that is something that is LONG overdue IMO. What is fair about someone 'sliding in' to an open spot, when I pay $200/$275 to reserve it for the season???
The other thing I forgot to mention in my 1st post---BIR will now have "tickets" for the Bracket Events...where you get scanned going in and out. Just like at the Divisional and Nationals----no more wrist bands. My only concern with this, is that I hope they can make this efficient...otherwise traffic will be backed up onto HWY 371....and I'm sure the Sheriff won't like that.

| Also with BIR's new ticket policy they did something that is long overdue, racer entry, AND crew entry are one solid rate, NO CAMPING! for a 3day crew pass it's $30 and the entry fees stay the same, i think the meeting went fine and everyone from BIR was able to answer everyones questions and put certain things to rest. |
